Adding more Labels in Planner

Does anyone know how to add more labels to tasks in Planner? I require more than the six provider.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Install, redeem, activate | For home | Other

    Although you can't get more than 6 labels, you can currently sort by the labels! Use the "Group by" dropdown at the top-right and select the option to Group by Labels. This will reorganize your board into Label Buckets.

    Why should we care about sorting????

    In any case you can NOT sort more than SIX LABELS !!!!!

    Your response is the equivalent of me telling my mechanic my car won't run, and him responding with information about how to use the radio. Related yes but only tangential to the topic and discussion, and not helpful.

    FYI, I can also choose NOT to sort by labels. Just another example of a response that's marginally related but not helpful.

    A limit of six tags is a joke -- has been so for years, and remains so until Microsoft gets serious and buys a project management platform to replace Planner. Because Microsoft clearly isn't investing in Planner anymore beyond basic minimal maintenance.
