Migration to Office 365 Failed - CommunicationErrorTransientException at 95%

Hello

I am working with a client to the point where they can move their mailboxes to Office 365 themselves. I am having some issues - the synch works fine but when it comes to finalising i keep getting this error over and over again

SO how does the Hybrid server work then when migrating to Office 365? Do you create the hybrid server onsite and then connect your Office 365 Remote move to this hybrid server?

The answer is no. The Hybrid server will not tale over as a CAS server.

Hi ERick

i think you misread my question. When I said Exchange 2013 hybrid server I meant a temporary Onsite install of exchange 2013 with a hybrid key and then this Onsite server takes over as a CAS

Hi Martin,

The answer is no. Office 365 cloud will not take place of your CAS server. If you use hybrid environment, autodiscover record is pointed to an on-premise Exchange CAS server. Many connections still work via CAS.
