Outlook on android - receiving notifications, but emails don't show in inbox.

I use outlook for android (Motorola Moto G running Android 5.1) and it worked great until a couple of days ago. Now I get notifications of new emails, but the messages don't show up in my inbox. If I click a notification to try and read the email, it says 'Couldn't open message', and takes me back to my inbox, which shows only old messages.

Please help!

How are you "refreshing"? I can't see an option to do that (using android)

Likewise. The email eventually shows up in my inbox, but delay can be as long as 15 minutes after notification. I am not going to delete the app and reinstall every time

I have the same problem in my Note 9.

    How to uninstall Microsoft Authenticator?

At me, it looks like, the issue was with the combination of the Microsoft Authenticator app... I had the same problem for a year, too, then uninstalled the Authenticator app a few weeks ago, and since then, Outlook works just perfect on my Android.

Having the same problem - when i uninstalled Outlook I couldn't re-install it at first and had to reset all settings. Once I did that it reinstalled and worked for a couple of days and now won't display messages.

However, on my S9 I keep getting notifications that Blue Mail is using a lot of resources and/or battery life. Are you still getting on OK with it? Have you any other alternative clients to recommend?

    Thanks...
