Hyperlink insert crashes Office 2016 & Windows 10 Creators Update

Hi,

After a lot of searching, I still cannot explain why all office software crashes when trying to insert a hyperlink when latest creators beta is installed (15060).

The crashes all relate to the same DLL ucrtbase.dll.

As soon as I rollback to actual windows version 14393.953 the issue is non existent.

But I use the god-mode all the time!  Windows 10/Office 365 is so incredibly buggy, that god-mode makes it easy to use the available tools there.  Why doesn't windows do that naturally, anyway?

I was unable to send an invoice today, thanks to Excel not working its hyperlinks, perhaps Excel's just atheistic?

Fix it, Microsoft.  Please.  NOW!

Hi,

Just put the God mode fille in a seperate folder rather than leaving it in your docs folder. Then you can use your hyperlinks in Excel.

    I'm sorry for not responding...I just found your updated commment, Zardoc. 

    Thank you for helping!!!  Yes, I moved God to a new temple and all works.  I just have to remember that I did that, what with all the other 'workarounds' with the new micros*** 'products' that I have to remember.  I have pages of notes of these.  But, thank you very much.  You certainly helped.

    You're right.  And I used Stardock when I had to use windows 8 on a laptop. 

    But, it irks me to the max to pay for an operating system that used to do all these things, at a cheaper sales price, and to have to (these days) buy 'add-ons' to recreate the functionality that micros*** stole from me by forcing me to stop using XP!  I'm serious.  I'd like to start a public protest in major cities of the world...protesting how micros*** took the computer world, forced us to (most of us) use and DEPEND on their software, and then screwed it all up.  I'd be happy to march and carry big signs!!!!

    My anti-shuffling icon solution was to use Stardock Fences.

    It works, it's reliable and I group the icons by function and workflow.

    I'm figuring out the best way to use fences along with "Task View", to make my workflow even better.
