Change the sharepoint.aspx page

If you click the "sharepoint" tile in the app launcher, you are now taken to  _layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx.

This page is an embarassment so how do I edit/change it?

The "you visited" information shown is rubbish - it's completely inaccurate, out of date and of no use whatsoever to a user. Where is the data pulled from and why does Msft think anyone would want to see this?

We understand admins may have requirements to custom the SharePoint home page or directly change it to the page you want. As we discussed above, the best way to influence our products and services is to submit your feedback via SharePoint Online Uservoice. It will let our related team hear your voice. Many good features are added from customers' good suggestions.

As a workaround, you may create a custom tile. So, users can directly access the SharePoint Online page which is customized by you.

    They've been "thinking about it" for more than 6 months now, maybe they'll finally notice if more people vote on this issue.

    In truth, User voice is just a way to deflect criticism, By all means vote but Msft never listens to their riffraff customers and is going to do what they want as they always have. Just recently - almost 2 years after it was suggested  - they proclaimed the 5000 item list view threshold had been "resolved " with the juvenile "boom it's done" cry.  In reality, it had not been resolved at all and the claim was totally false. So even when they claim something is fixed, it usually isn't.

    The top 4 sites under "FREQUENT SITES" on the sharepoint.aspx page today are all sites I have no access to. When is someone from Msft going to answer the question here about how that content is determined? It's certainly not from me visiting sites that I cannot access. In fact, some sites I do visit frequently don't show up at all. So how?????????????

    To investigate the issue further, I'd like to collect the following info:

    1. Are those "4 top sites under Frequent Sites" deleted? Could you access them via their URLs directly? Do you still have permissions for these 4 sites?
    2. Some trace logs for the issue. I have sent you a private message with detailed steps. 
    3. Your tenant info. To protect your privacy, please share it with us via private message.
