Stop the "don't lose access to your account" nonsense.

I'm prevented from logging in by a "set it up now" button on the generic log in page (using IE10). Like any security conscious enterprise, my company manages my passwords and isn't interested in this "nanny state" option. How do I bypass it?

"You're missing the point here Tarran, makes me wonder if maybe you secretly work for Microsoft support?"... You got me... darn it.

As you're so courteous, I'm sure other community members will continue to offer you their support for free. Anyhow, best of luck with your problems.

Yeah, snark in the morning is always fun.

I wouldn't have said it that way if you had taken your own advise ("as mentioned long ago") and read through the thread.  We've tried the change that you suggested and as reported in this thread, it hasn't helped.

    Cheers

Well, this ain't the place for this issue, or any issue to get noticed (Microsoft decision makers don't come here). I've made very valid suggestions on places you can get noticed, and yes, stuff on User Voice have been implemented.

Yes, I've had to do the 3+ months of tech support for issues. That's the nature of the cloud right now. To get better service (quicker, more knowledgeable techs) would require more money. How would your business like to pay even more for Office365?

I'm no fan of their tech support, but it is what it is, and to accomplish anything you have to do it the "Microsoft way." If your company is unhappy with the support then they should start the conversations about what to do instead.

I can't login to my enterprise account either. NO, I do not trust you with more personal information that you already have,  and I will NEVER give you my phone number.

We pay for premier support already and the experience is no different. Point me to an example of a user voice suggestion that's been implemented and I'll gladly give that another shot. Most people realize it's just another way of deflecting constructive criticism (like this forum).

We're not asking for the moon here - just an acknowledgement that the nag page in question is entirely inappropriate for an enterprise product and a commitment to remove it asap.

"Microsoft decision makers don't come here"

Therein lies the rub. Perhaps they should.
