Stop the "don't lose access to your account" nonsense.

I'm prevented from logging in by a "set it up now" button on the generic log in page (using IE10). Like any security conscious enterprise, my company manages my passwords and isn't interested in this "nanny state" option. How do I bypass it?

    Good idea - when the ceo of my S&P 500 company asks me why Msft is requesting his cell phone number, I'll just tell him to go to uservoice. We all know how quickly Msft responds to that useless resource...

    Unless you are the member of an organization with hundreds of thousands of users Microsoft is unlikely to listen to you, especially since you are not on the Executive level of your company.

    Places that can get some traction is by going to UserVoice and submitting a suggestion. I would recommend that you make it a thoughtful suggestion and not a rant as rants are typically ignored. 

    Another place you can try is the IT Pro Network on Yammer. Again, thoughtful, not rant.

    I'm seeing the message again so nothing has been done to fix it IN 6 MONTHS despite numerous requests not to mention the utter absurdity of it being allowed to happen in the first place. I can cancel out of it now but it's very confusing to users and should never be seen (unless it's requested by the customer). As usual, Msft pays no attention to their paying customers.

    What about this doesn't Msft understand?
