press Enter on your keyboard 4. In the command prompt, type the following command:
cd OneDrive
press Enter on your keyboard 5. In the command prompt, type the following command:

Can't save docs to my computer still. Tried both recommended fixes. No resolution. Please let me know when the fix occurs so I can use my programs as intended again.
I originally posted my issue as "MAJOR ISSUE EXCELWINDOWS10" on August 2, 2015. Link shown below:
There has not been a resolution to my posting either (reprinted below). Eventually I ended up reverting back to Windows 7.
I am just adding my voice to the chorus for Microsoft to fix the problem and ask that I be notified when a "True Fix" is made to Windows 10 resolving the issues with the Office Suite of Programs.

THIS IS A MAJOR WINDOWS 10 AND EXCEL 2007 PROBLEM.
I HAVE JUST UPDATED TWO COMPUTERS. ONE WITH WINDOWS 10 HOME THE OTHER WITH WINDOWS 10 PRO.
I CURRENTLY USE EXCEL 2007 ON A DAILY BASIS. AFTER UPDATING I HAVE FOUND THAT WHEN I HAVE TRIED TO USE AN EXISTING FILE OR WHEN I CREATE A NEW FILE ABOUT THE 2ND OR 3RD TIME I SAVE THE FILE EXCEL 2007 LOCKS UP AND SHOWS "NOT RESPONDING". THIS DOES NOT RESOLVE ITSELF AND AFTER A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME I AM FORCED TO USED THE TASK MANAGER TO END THE TASK.
WHEN EXCEL 2007 ENDS IT LOSES THE CURRENT FILE I AM WORKING WITH AND IT DELETES THE ORIGINAL FILE FROM THE HARD DRIVE LEAVING NO TRACE OF THE FILE. AUTO RECOVER DOES NOT WORK.
THIS HAPPENS ON BOTH MY COMPUTERS AND WITH EVERY FILE I HAVE TESTED IT WITH, INCLUDING NEWLY CREATED FILES.
ALL SETTINGS SUCH AS AUTO RECOVER ARE APPROPRIATELY SET BUT DO NOT SEEM TO FUNCTION.
I HAVE RUN THE MICROSOFT DIAGNOSTIC TESTS AND THESE TESTS CANNOT FIND ANY PROBLEM
THIS MAKES EXCEL 2007 UNUSABLE AS AN APPLICATION.
HELP!
Microsoft won't help. Apple won't help with ios and Google won't help with Android. Everytime there is an update or upgrade to an operating system there are major problems with bugs. It doesn't matter if its a computer or a smart phone. The consumer than has to spend hours on the phone with someone with broken english who is trying to figure out a fix for the problem reading a trouble shooting manual. It is all very frustrating.
I truly regret upgrading to windows 10. I cannot open a single file in Office (Word) and was unsuccessful with each of the suggested solutions.
When will this issue be resolved?
