When I navigate to https://portal.office.com, and try to login, the initial screen says "connected to Windows". When I attempt to click on my username, it does nothing. I then have to select use another account and type my username again.

I have the latest build of Windows 10 Enterprise and am using IE 11, with automatic logon only in intranet zone enabled.

    Hi Lynn,

Please try a different browser like Firefox or chrome. Try clearing the browser cache and reset the browser. Please ensure to take a backup of your Bookmarks before you reset the browser.

    Thanks,

    Srikant

Directing me to use a different browser does not solve this issue, it's merely a workaround, and not a very good one as indicated in my post above, I'm using automatic login with IE 11. I've also already flushed the cache and reset IE.

    Hi Lynn,

When the login page shows that "connected to Windows" under your account, it indicates that the work or school account you used to login to Windows 10 has been detected.

To identify the root cause, I’d like to collect your account information for investigation. To protect your privacy, I have sent you a private message asking for the information. You can go to this link to access to the Private Message: https://community.office365.com/user/conversations.

Besides, can you capture a screenshot of the whole page with “connected to Windows” shown? You can upload screenshots by clicking Use rich formatting > the first Insert/Edit Media icon.

    Regards,

    Ryan

I've been having the same issue since updating to the latest Windows 10 build...

What kind of setup do you have? Is it a domain joined machine or do you have a local account? Do you use Microsoft Account to login to Win 10 - if so then does it have the same email address as your Office 365/Azure AD account?
