Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

    Good day I have just purchased and upgraded and installed Office Home & Business 2016, unfortunately I know cannot install Project Standard 2013. From the posts I belive I get a free 2016 Project Upgrade, please urgently assist

    Have you RECENTLY tried installing project 2013 now that you have 2016 installed. Over the last few months a few people have reported being able to mix Office version installations (including 2016):

    I have the same question and issue  how do I restore Project 2013 now that Office 2016 has removed it, two years later there must be a customer focused resolution.
