Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

Yes, agreed.  I already started that.  MS continues to ignore us on this.

Sounds like ZDNet, WSJ, media outlets, BBB, and whoever else can get the public word out needs to be contacted.

Starting the e-mail-typing. This is ridiculous, as consumers of MS products we deserve a comprehensive, timely solution to this - at the very least a response and timeline on progress to a resolution.

I have upgraded Office to 2016 from my Office 365 subscription.  I purchased Visio 2013 less than a year ago when I started the subscription.  This was to upgrade my MS products to the latest versions.

Now of course, my Vision has been removed and cannot be installed.   I don't think this is reasonable.

I know Vision is a separate product but my subscribed upgrade should not break what I have installed.

    Thanks.

Hello - I have this issue also - bought Project and Visio 2013 two month ago, bought Office 2016 a couple of weeks ago not knowing that they were not compatible!
