Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

What number did you ring to get this sorted and what was their solution? I am talking with MS on the Answer Desk and they are useless they have no idea what I am talking about and are just trying to get rid of me

    I started with:

    (+44) 0344 800 2400

Then passed on to several other numbers, one of which I think was 0800 6427676 (was difficult to hear number given as they transferred me). I know at one point I was passed to the Visio team and the 'professional team'.

Keep on ranting.  I can assure you that the issue can be resolved.  Try the number I provided previously and ask to speak with a Visio specialist.  That last bit is important.  I am skeptical that MS will continue to provide free upgrades in the future given that they are losing some money on this.  But until there is a fix, you will be able to get what you need.
