The only way to solve the problem is to DOWNGRADE back to Office 2013. Universities are not advocating for the upgrade to 2016 and they refuse to sell it at their bookstores. They have far better minds than those at Microsoft have at this point. Do NOT
buy into what Nicole is telling you as she is good at skirt trailing the lines of the legal boundaries. She obviously does not 'get it' as the Progam Manager of Natural Linguistics that people are tired of the bull that is being fed to them. That is typical
management mentality and only want to serve their own agendas--their pockets. Nicole needs to start thinking of others and practice the type of leadership that is exemplified at other institutions. If need be, go back to school for a refresher course on
Ethics as it will do all of your managers some good to appease the mass. A good dose of humility will bring the lessons taught into perspective.
Those who have or have had to standalone versions are being treated as second class citizens with more vague promises that are not likely to occur as with the failed promises to those who have the subscriptions. Microsoft does not want to fix the problem.
Nicole and crew only want to continue to push for the subscriptions to guarantee their paychecks and stringing people along with the glass half full optimism! Nicole and crew need to get out of fantasy land and come back to the realities that the rest of
the people have to live in. People paid for a product that fully functions and was not given what was promised in the form of 'new and improved.' Microsoft created this mess causing havoc on the very lives that line their pockets. They should be ashamed
and one day I could only hope is that justice will be done to the very ones that caused such havoc and disruptions to individual's livelihoods that created the havoc and disruptions to individuals and their businesses. Office 2016 has ruined the reputation
that Microsoft has been built upon by its founder as the only thing that is good for is the cyberspace rubbish pile!
People reach out to this community for sound guidance to fix the issues for there yet has been no solid answers only workarounds to the issues that often does not work. People work hard for their money and from the pages of frustrations, the only solutions
that are the vague promises for subscribers that often does not work either. If Microsoft does not want to honor the standalone versions, they should have never offered the standalone versions, to begin with. Treating those who have the standalone version
differently is essentially slapping them in the face while they eat their caviar and drink their high dollar wine. So go ahead and drink that high dollar wine and eat that caviar because one day you folks will one day have to come back to reality and start
feeling the pain that others do for the devastation that Microsoft has caused. Until Microsoft comes back to that reality, the very people who depend on the software are going to reach out and pick at your flaws to illustrate that Microsoft is not perfect
as they like to think they are!
The moderators no doubt are there to offer guidance but are falling victim to the frenzies and insanities from Nicole if Nicole knows anything at all other than her own agenda. The Peter's Principle appears to be alive and well at Microsoft! How those moderators
can stand up and post the rubbish that Nicole is feeding them is beyond me. Take some pride is your posts and demand some truths from Nicole! Fix this insanity and make it right with the people whom you serve is the only sure way to make the frustrations
from the people to stop! If the wheel isn't broken, don't fix it! Now that the wheel is broken, the people deserve that a solution to be implemented to repair the wheel. All the people, not just subscribers. Nicole, as a spokesperson for Microsoft, please
stop feeding people that rubbish to serve yours and others personal agendas. Admit your human and have flaws, all people do. You will be judged one day and your actions will determine your future. For me, I can only hope that it is not a very bright one.
Do you have the power to influence to get what the people deserve? Obviously not! The people will revolt and push back as you have seen. I am giving you the benefit of doubt that you can see how the people are ticked off. People want a solution and yet you
fail at providing one. Break the silo that you live in an see it is the people who can either make you or are can break you. Right now that people are revolting and voicing their dissatisfactions in your actions, wake up and find a solution since you think
you know it all and are perfect. From what I have seen, all you have done is rip people off and out of their hard earned money for your failure! Yes, as the spokesperson, you are accountable to the people. Act as an exemtpler not as a a follower of this
destruction.
