YES, Office 2007 is compatible with Windows 10, I suggest you to follow the link Compatibility centerand check if it helps.

However, you may upgrade to the latest Office version.

Which versions of Microsoft Office work on Windows 10?

The following versions of Microsoft Office with the latest Service Packs have been confirmed to be compatible with Windows 10:

Older versions of Office such as Office 2003 and Office XP are not certified compatible with Windows 10 but might work using compatibility mode.

    A couple months ago I allowed the up grad to the new Win, 10, I attempted to address an envelope, but no Office Pro was installed. I had to reinstall C drive, to get it back. This happened to a lot of persons because I searched the web and there were page after page of persons with the same problem. There was NO resolution for this except up grade office, In my case I do not have recourses to do this. So either I restore C drive from a file on the Win 10 disk

    Just bought Win 10 and loaded my Office 2007. On clicking say Excel or Word a screen with "configuration Progess" appears and then after several mins, the program loads.

    This happens every new use session of the PC . Is there any way to save the configured version to avoid waiting  again for configuration?

    Please see that you have updated the office 2007 through windows updates after installation and also if you have the office key then please insert it and restart.  This may solve your problem I think.
