YES, Office 2007 is compatible with Windows 10, I suggest you to follow the link Compatibility centerand check if it helps.

However, you may upgrade to the latest Office version.

Which versions of Microsoft Office work on Windows 10?

The following versions of Microsoft Office with the latest Service Packs have been confirmed to be compatible with Windows 10:

Older versions of Office such as Office 2003 and Office XP are not certified compatible with Windows 10 but might work using compatibility mode.

    This is a very strange answer.  I had previously installed Microsoft Home and Student 2007 and it worked fine in Windows 10. The splash screen said Office 2007 whenever I ran it. Then all of a sudden, because the Windows 10 "trial" version or whatever had run out, my student version wouldn't open *.docx files by association.  (I uninstalled Office for Windows 10.) I couldn't create an association because I couldn't find the 2007 program in the list. The only link I could find to 2007 was in the start menu.  The actual program seems to be buried deep in some place that Microsoft doesn't want anyone to go. I could open *.docx if I loaded Word 2007 from the start menu and then opened the file. Dog chasing it's tail. Now everything is just a pain in the ****. If people had to buy cars the way Microsoft makes people upgrade software everyone would be driving brand new cars or walking.

    And what do I have to do to get a "screen shot"?

    Compatibility mode would be great if I could find the program to make the adjustment. Microsoft seems to have buried the program, somewhere it doesn't want it to be found, when it did the installation. Microsoft Office 2007 for Home and Student.
