Hi James,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 Technical Preview is much appreciated.

YES, Office 2007 is compatible with Windows 10, I suggest you to follow the link Compatibility centerand check if it helps.

However, you may upgrade to the latest Office version.

Hope this information was helpful and do let us know if you need further assistance. We will be glad to assist.

I went through the compatability check and nothing showed up as not compatible.

I did have my office portable USB connected when i ran the check.

Now i'm going to have to buy a new office suite AND Norton ghost product key as it also deleted my norton ghost product key and i can't find my original disk.

So ghost will stop working after 30 days.

Microsoft need to read the definition of the word "free".

What they needed to say when this upgrade was announced was "The windows upgrade is free, but you may need to purchase all new software and possibly hardware like printers"

How many of us would have taken up this "Free" upgrade?

I have no idea whether my software has updated or not. Something I must check out. To be honest, apart from security, I don't care if it does update as I'm quite happy with it as it is. Vulnerability to viruses is another matter. I just hope my virus checking software deals with that.
