YES, Office 2007 is compatible with Windows 10, I suggest you to follow the link Compatibility centerand check if it helps.

However, you may upgrade to the latest Office version.

Which versions of Microsoft Office work on Windows 10?

The following versions of Microsoft Office with the latest Service Packs have been confirmed to be compatible with Windows 10:

Older versions of Office such as Office 2003 and Office XP are not certified compatible with Windows 10 but might work using compatibility mode.

    If windows 10 is compatible with Word 2007, why can't I save new documents??

    I should add that this often behaves correctly, saying send-receive completed, when there is no email to download.  If there is an error it looks like this:

    THE ERROR occurs maybe 50% of the time, so several times daily.

    Outlook 2007 works fine except for the following problem.  

    There is sometimes, not every time, an error message for the Receiving task.  The Sending task is OK and completed.  The error says Receiving reported error (Ox800CCC1A): "Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified..."

    It seems to be when there is no email to download from the internet account with Verizon FIOS.  But I'm not sure, if I check sometimes there is email there, but it may have just arrived.  I've seen it happen sometimes when I click the Send Receive button, but sometimes if I click a few times it will then work and downloads email.  I have also see the error show and quickly disappear from the automated process.
