YES, Office 2007 is compatible with Windows 10, I suggest you to follow the link Compatibility centerand check if it helps.

However, you may upgrade to the latest Office version.

Which versions of Microsoft Office work on Windows 10?

The following versions of Microsoft Office with the latest Service Packs have been confirmed to be compatible with Windows 10:

Older versions of Office such as Office 2003 and Office XP are not certified compatible with Windows 10 but might work using compatibility mode.

    Thanks for the information. I am 73 years old and had a lots on information in my 2007 Doc. did not want to loose them. and I miss my Icons that I was able to use. now I do not know were to go. every thing wants money and I am retired and living on a fix income. God help us all.

    Before opening, Word and Excel go into several seconds of processing complete with a crawling bar. A message reads that Office is being configured. It happens EVERY time I open either program.

    I do not have the issue with Access or the rest of the suite, only Word and Excel.  Others having the same problem are solving it by downgrading to Windows 8.1 or upgrading Office. So much for Microsoft compatibility.

    More details about what needs to be configured when launching or do you mean when the system does an upgrade? as I haven't seen any issues when I launch the program, I have seen changes when the Windows 10 does an upgrade. now I've seen people posting that in build 14915 that when doing some math calculations that it crashes myself haven't tested that, but we have to remember this is why it's called preview testing.
