Hi James,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 Technical Preview is much appreciated.

YES, Office 2007 is compatible with Windows 10, I suggest you to follow the link Compatibility centerand check if it helps.

However, you may upgrade to the latest Office version.

Hope this information was helpful and do let us know if you need further assistance. We will be glad to assist.

    @ValerieDellar

    When I updated from 8.1 to 10, MS Office Enterprise 2007 which consist of the following;

    • Word 2007
    • Excel 2007
    • PowerPoint 2007
    • Outlook 2007
    • Publisher 2007
    • Access 2007
    • OneNote 2007
    • Info Path 2007
    • Groove 2007

    worked fine, BUT WOULD NOT UPDATEfrom that point on which means it would be useless to me at some point in the VERY NEAR future. It is like buying a computer with XP, there are no more updateswhich means it will eventually stop working. I cannot afford to start buying all new programs as Microsoft suggested I do, because Microsoft can't or won't fix the issues. I have a $600.00 Photoshop Program that doesn't work on Windows 10, and I spent over $500.00 plus for my MS Office Enterprise 2007. That is over $1100.00 it would cost me to repurchase just these two new programs.

    Now that you have installed it, will your Office 2007 COMPLETELY update???  So far no one has told me yes it will update COMPLETELY Office 2007.  Installing was never the problem, updating was the issue.

    Yes, use the CD.  I did it with a disc, so have no idea how to reinstall it without. The good news is I have finally made everything work!! I re-installed Office 2007, then downloaded Service pack 3 the compatibility software and bingo - everything worked including Outlook. You will have to configure Outlook with all the settings. I had them on my old computer so just copied the lot. Remembering the password was the difficult bit!

    Check out this link - it helped me through it. Good luck.  https://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/download/details.aspx?id=27838
