Hi Vidyaranjan,

If you receive this error when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University:

“Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error code 30088-4”

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

I am trying to use Window8 on a new lap top.  Everything feels broken.  Tried the new office 360, slow, tried to buy the actual program to install on my lap top, won't load.  Now, trying to run the program that came with my computer, and get this code 30088-4.

Is Microsoft coming out with a major upgrade to fix all these little problems that stop one from being productive.  Screens look great in Windows 8, but still so very buggie.  Going to have to go out and buy windows 7 to install on this brand new computer.  Thoughts.

Me too.  I just tried to chat online with microsoft and they couldn't help me.  I have uninstalled and tried to reinstall and same message.  Now I have lost ability to continue completion of work items due to reactivating my subscription.  I have to call a special department tomorrow.  Very frustrating.  Plus it will not allow me access on my iPhone.  Frustrated.  Anybody have any other ideas for me?

Thanks for the Open Office heads up.  I just spent money on a product that isn't working.  Very discouraged.
