Hi Vidyaranjan,

If you receive this error when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University:

“Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error code 30088-4”

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

The answer is very simple. Delete Microsoft Office, throw it in the trash and chalk it up as a lesson learned. Office is always a headache. You come here looking for solutions and all you get is "try this, try that" when in reality nothing works. I paid for Office 2013 for this brand new laptop (Windows 8.1) and am now receiving the same stupid Error. Seriously, keep track of the time you have involved TRYING to fix plus the cost......and you get the same result...$$$$ out the window....I paid for something that I didn't get. Bottom line; here's your answer......Install Open Office by Apache, It's free and most importantly, works better then MS.

I don't have the time or money to waste on products that doesn't work.
