I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University. What should I do?

Hi Vidyaranjan,

If you receive this error when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University:

“Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error code 30088-4”

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    I have already installed Office 365 Home Premium e few months ago. It was OK.

    But today I have the problem. Must I desinstall all the applications ?

    I have already installed Office 365 Home Premium/University and it will expire 12/10/2017 so why am I getting emails to Install??
