I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University. What should I do?

Hi Vidyaranjan,

If you receive this error when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University:

“Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error code 30088-4”

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    I bought the card with the product code on it $125. Finally just got it uninstalled. Had to download the "Fix-it" download before it would even uninstall.......I'd  be ashamed if I were MS. I have read on SEVERAL sites that tons of people are having issues. I am now waiting.........and waiting on it to reinstall....been almost an hour now....wish there was a way to bill MS for my time..... OR they could actually make a product that worked...
