Hi Vidyaranjan,

If you receive this error when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University:

“Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error code 30088-4”

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

Lovely, I now have lost my outlook pst file with about 20 years worth of addresses, birthdays, and a few scant emails from friends and family no longer with us. I do have some backed up but not the last two weeks while I have been out of town.

I have never had an application just "vanish" on me before.

Does the MS Office Home Use program have anything to do with our common threads here? Or is it all just a coincidence with the timeframe because I am now scared to open my laptop up to lose all my business information on that machine too!

If you notice the dates on all these replies, they are in the last few days. A lethal "patch" must have killed all our installations.
