If you have trouble finding your pst file then you can also use Windows search to look for it.
Open Windows explorer
Select Computer [in the left-hand pane]
In the search box near the upper right corner, enter
.pst
and it will search the hard drive & any connected local drives for all pst files.
Windows search cannot search network drives but from your previous descriptions, I do not think that limitation is relevant.
I explained before that Outlook Help will show you where the pst file is by default and also where Outlook 2007's configuration files are. I hope you do look this page up but I've now found my notes of the default location and it is at
C:\Users*YourOwnUserName*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst
I also explained that you can put the pst wherever you want to make it easier to include in backup routines [mine, for example, is in a sub-folder of My documents]. I've set this up on a few PCs so, if it is of interest & once you have the reassurance of
