Microsoft Charge Taxes (VAT) but refuse to give a VAT invoice on payment of renewal

That was exactly my point that Microsoft DID NOT provide me with the ability to obtain a VAT invoice as I am able and willing to provide them with my VAT number but they were not interested - not a problem now as I no longer use their products and have changed to an Apple laptop and other products - no going back.

Using the instructions below you will be able to access invoices with any modern browser. This isn't limited to Edge or IE. I can access invoices for Office 365 from Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Opera and Safari. It's important to note that for Home/Student/Personal Office 365 subscriptions Microsoft don't provide VAT invoices - it's against the terms of these subscriptions to use these for commercial purposes. To access VAT invoices from Microsoft you would need to be using a Business/Enterprise subscription. However a workaround is given below - to use at your own risk.

For O365 Business/Enterprise Subscriptions:

1. Login to the Office 365 Admin Portal (https://portal.office.com/adminportal/)
2. On the left hand side click Billing then click Bills
3. Select the Month you wish to see the bill for and click View
4. Next to the Bill you want select View Invoice (PDF). Note: Microsoft's Business/Enterprise invoices are VAT invoices by default.

For O365 Personal/Home/Student Subscriptions:

1. Login to your Microsoft Account (https://account.microsoft.com)
2. Select Payment & Billing on the top menu bar, then select Purchase History.
3. For the transaction you need the invoice for click "Details" you can then print these. **Note:**This does not result in a VAT invoice, Microsoft's Personal/Home/Student subscriptions are not for use in commercial environments, this is clear in the terms of service. However by writing on Microsoft's address and VAT registration number you can enable these to pass as VAT invoices, however you should be using a Microsoft Office 365 business subscription if you are operating commercially - you are breaking the terms of your license if using an Office 365 Personal/Home/Student subscription for commercial purposes.

Ten days  I  purchased Office 365 for Mac and I need an invoice.

Since Microsoft Explorer for Mac is not supported by Microsoft what should we do? Chrome, Mozilla are not considered as "correct" browsers? Kindly advise .
