Office Home and Business 2013 is now blank under "file size" in Programs and Features following the June 11 Microsoft update.  How do I recover it?

I did something similar and it all works for me.

Was getting the "Something went wrong" message, which brought me to this thread. Tried to Repair Office, no response (presumably because clicktorun is hosed). So I rolled back the 11th June updates. At this point Office 2013 was at 15.0.4623.1003 I'm guessing it had updated prior to Windows Update. Installed the Windows Updates again (one by one, I wanted to see which was the offender) Reboot and tested Office each time. Updates installed on Win 7 Pro 64bit (32bit Office 2013 + Office 2007 Access Runtime) as follows and in order:

    KB2957689 - IE10

    KB2939576 - Win 7

    KB2957189 - Win 7

    KB2957503 - Win 7

    KB2957509 - Win 7

    KB2965788 - Win 7

    KB2800095 - Win 7

    KB2952664 - Win 7

    KB890830 - MSRT June

    KB2878233 - Office 2007

    KB2881069 - Office 2007

At no point did I uninstall Office or run the Fix It suggested by the Microsoft chatbot in this thread.

So do we have any shot at Microsoft pushing an update to fix this problem or are we completely on our own.  I am far from an IT expert and I really don't know how to get this fixed.  I am sure there are many others in this same situation. Microsoft are you watching this?

I didn't uninstall Office either. It did it on its own. It just disappeared. That is why I got FixIt. I just ran it to make sure I got it as clean as possible.. Then I reinstalled. I had no choice. When the program uninstalls itself you are kind of out of options, you know?

Just for giggles I remote desktoped into the one in California with this issue. It shows Office 2013 Pro en-us version 15.0.4615.1002. Quick repair fails "Something went wrong" with error code 2147483634-8. Online repair never gets past step 1 of 4 and fails with error code 0-4.

They're on a super-slow connection so I can't do much at the moment. I might try to reconnect later and do the reinstall and let it run over the weekend (yes it's that slow so I don't want to impact the other users at that location) but maybe that info will help someone find an explanation/cause/fix.

Try this fix for the ClickToRun install/uninstall problem or the hang on 70% progress...

Finally a fix that worked for me, where even the Office Uninstaller from Microsoft failed.
