Office Home and Business 2013 is now blank under "file size" in Programs and Features following the June 11 Microsoft update.  How do I recover it?

@caine0001 That ´s it. We don`t want to send any message via E-Mail. This Forum gives all MS needs. All aspects off the problem, seen by the user or by the admin, can be seen here.

@Susan Bradley The symptom by one of our customers was:

    • Windows 7 x64 Pro SP1
    • Office 2013 Home & Business with KeyCard and installation via office.com/setup
    • all MS-updates installed 20140611/20140612
    • in morning of the 20140612 office doesn`t start with the error can be seen here http://www.computer-service-goeppingen.de/microsoft-office-2013-startet-nach-update-nicht,203.html
    • repair doesn`t work; told to start repair, but nothing happens
    • a look in the update-history shows me, that there are no office-updates
    • uninstalled all ms-updates on the client from 20140611 an 20140612 an restarted the machine
    • office doesn`t work; the same symptoms
    • started a systemrecovery for 20140607; after that, office works fine
    • because the problem with the updates persists, I`ve deactivated the ms-updates for the machine

Thats the situation at the moment - but its not the solution!

MS have to check the ms-updates which interact with Office 2013.

    Regards,

    Jan

Jan it doesn't work to merely say "Hey Microsoft", they need to review an impacted system.  In order to investigate I need to have someone look at your system.

If you don't have history of Office updates in your Windows update history, then you have clicktorun.

I am still getting confused here as some indicated they don't have clicktorun.

Can someone help me help Microsoft understand what's going on?

Email me at susan-at-msmvps.com  (change the -at- to @) so we can get official support cases opened?  Forum postings won't work here.  We need Microsoft to see log files.

Would be nice to do that probably, if Outlook 2013 was working. But it doesn't.

Please fix this soon, I'm on Win 7. Latest Windows update caused this problem. Is a link to a file broken?

You can always use a web portal or some other means to email.  Outlook is not the only way to send an email :-)

Since I'm not repro'ing this on Win7/Office 2010 it appears to be unique to 2013.
