Office Home and Business 2013 is now blank under "file size" in Programs and Features following the June 11 Microsoft update.  How do I recover it?

I just spent an hour an a half on the phone with someone in the Philippines who could not fix it. They even remoted in to my computer. Got a ticket number for a call back from a "level 2" technician tomorrow. I told them the issue is not with office 2013, but with the windows security updates that downloaded when I logged off this am. Yesterday everything was fine-today all effed up since the updates happened.

Many more complaints after mine this morning!  Get off the Dime, Microsoft!  Last week when I asked a supervisor when a fix/update would be available for Office 2013, she said...there has not been enough data/complaints yet!  How many more of us need to be disabled in our work, whether pro bono volunteerism or professionally before you take action!?!?!?

I am fortunate to have another server accessible, because I haven't the time or energy to spend finding another temporary fix--at 2-3 hrs at a time!

Guys, I may have found a fix..

this just worked for me, maybe it will for you guys too.

first, go to installed updates for windows. uninstall all of the updates that were installed today/last night.

then, run the utility to remove all traces of office 2013

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501/en-us

    reboot,

then go to microsoft.com/office and redownload the software.

install and it just completed ok for me reboot and all

Microsoft. Do you see that nobody's office 2013 works after the 06/11 automatic update? Also the same solutions your tech people keep suggesting over and over are not working for anyone. you need to figure out what happened and how to fix it. If everyone is having this same issue and your suggested fix does not work, you need to figure something else out. This is the sort of thing that drives people to Apple products. Please help the consumers who bought office 2013 to get it back. This is your responsibility as a company.
