Hey there Susan, I noticed this post of yours after I got that info that they were now aware and working to find the solution. I was wondering if the advice you are giving here is something that you have been told now to suggest to people until they get
it fixed or if it is just something you found on your own. I was thinking it was the former or you would have posted it much earlier, so I was thinking that maybe they have now came clean about this problem existing and are letting employees know of things
that can be tried in order to stay up and running until the fix. Is that true? Or is the former idea about you just finding this on your own? Either way, thank you for posting this. I am just wondering because if they have given out this band-aid to employees
it means the research into this problem is moving ahead pretty good.
Also, you say to schedule turning updates back on in December since that is when this crash bug fix is scheduled to be released. Is that for real now? I was told yesterday that they expect to have a hard fix for our problem within a week, especially since
they have an idea where to focus now. But according to what you are saying, we can't update our Office again until December. I know these updates are a once a month thing normally, but are they really saying now that they need 6 months to get it fixed? That
is discouraging in comparison with what I was told yesterday and the time frame being more like a week. So is that December thing something that is real as far as the date? Or does the week time frame still apply.
