Office 2013 missing after June 11 Microsoft auto upates

What has anyone been able to figure out?

Not much it would seem. Different people are having success getting back up with different means. What works for one person does not work for another. Everyone has different symptoms too until it stops working altogether or uninstalls itself. So not much positive to report. One thing we all agree on is that this happened in relation to some update, whether it be an update to Windows or to Office. Whatever was in that update wreaked havoc on a lot of Office installations.

What has anyone been able to figure out?

Just for giggles I remote desktoped into the one in California with this issue. It shows Office 2013 Pro en-us version 15.0.4615.1002. Quick repair fails "Something went wrong" with error code 2147483634-8. Online repair never gets past step 1 of 4 and fails with error code 0-4.

They're on a super-slow connection so I can't do much at the moment. I might try to reconnect later and do the reinstall and let it run over the weekend (yes it's that slow so I don't want to impact the other users at that location) but maybe that info will help someone find an explanation/cause/fix.

I am somewhat confused now. The version number you show indicates that the last update received by Office was in May. The version number for June would be 15.0.4623.1003. So why has yours shutdown? If the June updates have not been applied yet it should still be ok. Just curious, that is all. Unless the damage got done while the update was being applied and it never got through the whole thing and did not get recorded. Oh well, I was just wondering.

I do not see an update on the 11th in my list of updates.  I simply clicked on an icon and it said program not at that location.  Tried others from office, and nothing worked.  Sure would like to get it recovered.  Someone have a solution soon.

Do you have any updates from June 10th? And also, when did your Office 2013 stop working?

On a different matter, MS finally called me but I was in the doctor's exam room. I returned the call when I got home but got the guy's voicemail so I left a message. I will see if I get called back.
