Office Home and Business 2013 is now blank under "file size" in Programs and Features following the June 11 Microsoft update.  How do I recover it?

    It works without Backups. But if You have backups, the use of them would be the better way I think.

    This would require backups no? Is there a system recovery that we can use and if so how do we access it? This is really bad news for our non-profit organization!

    Ok this works;

    Do a system recovery to a previous date before your latest Win update, for example last week,.

    Change your settings in Windows Update to "never update (not recommended)".

    It will let you go back to work using Outlook 2013 in my case.

    To be safe; save a new date for system recovery so you will have one incase next update will upset you again.

    Hope the MS team finds a solution. I need to work now:D

    @Susan BradleySorry, but our customers' systems, which are affected, we have recovered to the "day before". I don`t have a system for MS to investigate and I´m thinking, that MS should do all they can to find a solution without the customers. I understand, that it would be easier for MS with logfiles. But nobody can expect, that we let our customers work with an damaged office, while we are able to fix it with the recovery and deactivated ms-updates.

    Am I right that MS doesn´t know anything about this big problem, because nobody is able to give logfiles?

    Regards,

    Jan
