Office 2013 missing after June 11 Microsoft auto upates

Can someone help me help Microsoft understand what's going on?

I don't understand how we can make it any clearer. Just a brief looking over of this forum tells you everything that we know about the problem. The symptoms are weird and different for everyone. The one thing in common is that it started after the updates. If you explain what I can do to make it clearer for Microsoft I will do it to help out. I just do not see what else there is to say. And nobody in the world can convince me that they are in the complete dark and do not know about this with as many people that are being affected as there is at this time. They just haven't figured out how to fix it or maybe even do not know yet how they broke it. But like I said, I am happy to help if you just let me know what you need from me. But in reality, do you think that this monolithic company does not know what happened yesterday? One thing they need to do is go back to making it possible to have more control over updates and being able to see what updates are available, what ones you want to apply, and what ones have been applied. Just like we could do back before 2013 and the Click To Run feature. Sometimes simplifying things too much is a bad thing, especially when it takes away the ability to track down a problem and even more so when it comes to something that they will need input from the customer for in order to fix it. I understand the concept. It would be great if all we ever did was turn on our computer and everything was streamed as we wanted it, and any problem was detected by and fixed by the manufacturer. But this concept does not work too well when it is software and you have so many different  environments (hardware and software, network, user skills, etc.) that it is being used in. You just cannot provide the latest answers when you have so many different situations the problem could be found in. Until they invent completely bulletproof apps and can guarantee to stay ahead of every possible problem that might arise, then they need to shelve this Click To Run and continue to give the consumer the ability to investigate and troubleshoot on their own.

This reminds me of how automobiles went from completely mechanical machines that everyone could work on in their back yard to computerized electronic monsters that only a select few are properly trained to work on. That seems to be how we are heading in regards to our computer usage. Having less and less power to solve problems and find answers or to even troubleshoot issues seems to be where we are headed. We are being herded into a situation where we are going to become completely dependent on the manufacturer and can do nothing on our own to fix our problems like we have done in the past. This Office problem is a perfect example. Nobody knows anything or can do anything except hope until the manufacturer decides to give it some attention. It is sad really.

Office Home and Business 2013 is now blank under "file size" in Programs and Features following the June 11 Microsoft update.  How do I recover it?

I have the same problem with a  customer I serve.   Microsoft needs to fix this.   I have remove all the updates back to June 1 and rebooted. the repair does still not work.    Removing office and reinstalling is not a fix.  There are lots of people affected.  Come on Microsoft get with it..

I have started my laptop today and office comes up with an error message "Something went wrong" we couldn't start your program. Please try starting your program again.   Tried this, tried changing Office and repairing it under control panel and nothing works.   I use this for my work and I can't get emails or do anything.   I agree Microsoft needs to do something.

Nothing in Office 2013 works after this update.  Can't even uninstall/reinstall, 'officeclicktorun' and other office processes can be seen in task manager, but do nothing..

How can I regain my Office 2013 after the udate.

Same for my customer. This needs fixed not with reinstalling office.  I think by Monday when every one does a reboot they will have many more with problems.. Get with it Microsoft.
