Powerpoint will not scale properly on second monitor

Powerpoint refuses to scale properly on my second monitor and borders menu items etc. stay too big to operate efficiently. Word is working as it should and the menu items resize appropriately when moving from monitor to monitor. Is there a setting to fix this and make it behave like Word does?

    I had a same issue with my Surface pro 3 operated by the new hot OS, 10 running Office 2013.

    Like others, POWERPOINT!!!

    With your magical solution, I could solve the problem.

    Again, I appreciate your great help.

    However, I found that the troublemaker this time presents blurred UI.

    I opened and compared other office apps' manifest files and found only Powerpoint's manifest file messy, seemingly still being worked on. 

    I may have to wait for the update and fix from the company.

    BTW, my PPT version is 15.0.4737.1003

    At least it worked for me.

    Awesome, worked, thank you, I just wonder why this is not the default setting.  Who is looking for PowerPoint for the visually impaired to be the default?

    This fixed the size scaling issue, and PowerPoint looked great on my 1080p external monitor. However, the text looked blurry on my hiDPI laptop display. I recently upgraded from a Windows 7 laptop with a 1080p screen, to a Windows 8.1 laptop with a UHD+ screen, and it has been one headache after another. Microsoft needs to either make software that functions properly with universal (or nearly) hardware, or make their own external hardware that works seamlessly with with their software. As of now, it feels a lot like a diy Maker experience.
