PowerPoint will not allow me to paste anything into a slide. I have tried text into a text box, shapes, entire slides. It allows me to copy or cut, but when I try to paste it is greyed out or does nothing when I use Command+V on my MacBook Pro. I am running Office 2011 Home & Student and copy and paste work fine in Word and Xcel. I have tried to reinstall the software and that didn.t help either... Any ideas?

Are you reading my postings? You keep saying there is no mention to something that I have already done. It is like you are responding to my postings without reading them.
I have used the disk maintenance tool, we have rebuilt permissions, we rebuilt user accounts, we have rebuilt the OS twice, we have reinstalled the OS from scratch and loaded from scratch.
Why do you say that it was "hinted but not expressly stated.."? If you are going to make comments, please read the posting that you are making the comment on - all this was very "expressly stated."
