    Hi,

Thank you for replying and it’s unfortunate that even after trying the steps you are unable to install Office 2013 suite.

Since the Office installation has failed, I would suggest you to run the fix it again to remove the traces:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501/en-us

Enable to Task Scheduler by following the steps below :

    ·         Click on Start and select Control Panel

    ·         Click on System and Maintenance> Administrative Tools> right click Task Scheduler and select Start

    ·         Confirm the changes and restart your computer if prompted.

Once the computer is restarted, right click on setup.exe file and choose Run as Administrator and try to install the program.

    Let us know the result.

    Thank you.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT !!!!! I POORLY NEED YOUR HELP MISS!!!

I  have done the steps below:

Enable to Task Scheduler by following the steps below :

    ·         Click on Start and select Control Panel

    ·         Click on System and Maintenance> Administrative Tools> right click Task Scheduler and select Start

however, I got an error message saying

Selected Task "{0}" no longer exists

    Hi,

As per description you are unable to install Office 2013 Professional on the computer. Let me help you with the issue.

Try the steps below and check the result:

    Step 1:

Run the fix it from the following link to remove traces of Office:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501/en-us

    Step 2:

Once the fix it process is complete try the step below to rename the Microsoft Help Folder and check if it helps:

    · Hold Windows key + R.

    · Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:

    %Programdata%

Rename the 'Microsoft Help' folder as 'Microsoft Help. OLD'

Restart the computer and then try to install Office 2013 in windows clean boot mode and check if it helps:

Refer the following article on How to restart the computer in Clean Boot:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Ensure to restart the computer in normal mode once troubleshooting is completed.

Clean boot is performed to disable all startup programs and 3rd party services on the machine and check if they are conflicting with the Office program. If so, you may disable the unwanted software those conflict with the suite or get them updated.

I hope the above information helps.

    Thank you.

Thanks Deepa... It worked finally... But for that I ran "CCleaner" additionally after restarting.
