Cannot install office 2013 Error "Microsoft office professional plus 2013 encountered an error during setup"

hello, 

I got the problem when i want to install microsoft office 2013. The Problem is when i click the setup, setup is running well at the first time. But when the installation almost finish, appear notification "microsoft office professional plus 2013 encountered an error during setup" then i click close and appear notification again " microsoft setup bootstrapper has stopped working".  previously, i had installed microsoft office 2013 preview and i uninstalled please help me solve this problem.

Now i already installed office 2010, i want install office 2013,

    Have you reinstalled windows? Maybe this will fix it. I haven't tried it because i don't want my files lost.

    Sorry about my frustration. I guess i needed it off my chest. But the thing is that i had office '13 installed, i uninstalled it, but i can't reinstall it.

    You won't lose your files, necessarily. If you do, just don't format the HDD (hard drive). Choose the "Custom" option. When you do, you'll see a message that says your files will be placed in a folder named "Windows.old". After the install, you will see, whenever you click on the C:\ drive, you will see the folder. Open it and find your "User" folder, where you'll see your user name, and go from there.

    Oh, I did reinstall, and it didn't help. I believe my file is corrupted. I haven't gotten back to it, but when I get back, I'll see...

    I think there's no "Custom" option in Windows 8 but there are two options in:

    start> right corner> pc settings> general> Refresh your PC without affecting your files ,and, Remove everything and reinstall Windows    (check on youtube to see the messages that pop up)

    I think with "Custom" you mean the first one, but it says in that that i will lose my installed files (games and applications) and i don't want to lose those either (but i will do if i'm sure it works with my problem).

    If you mean the second one, i think all my files (installed and non-installed files) will be deleted. If you mean something else let me know.
