Cannot install office 2013 Error "Microsoft office professional plus 2013 encountered an error during setup"

Yeah? I have found tons of "leftover files" in Office uninstalls. If you don't look for them, you won't find them. Next time you have an uninstall of Office, look at the registry and see how many folders  named "Office" are still hanging out in there. Just look and see...

Hi feel encouraged to try out my posted solution some pages ago. Running all available Office cleanup tools will certainly do the job.

Or use RevoUninstaller to uninstall it. It reaches into the registry, deeply, to find keys that, otherwise, would remain. Then go to "Program Files" and delete every "Office" folder you see. Then, in "Search", or "Run", type %temp%>Hit "Enter"> choose "Select All"> Delete> Continue/Yes>Continue (if asked again in a "Permissions" dialogue box), then "Skip"; empty "Recycle Bin"; Restart, then try install again after doing the "Taskmgr"/Task Scheduler" process described above. And the most confident I can be is "it might" install without a hitch. After my Windows 10 debacle, I am 100% confident in nothing from Microsoft...

I got the problem when i want to install microsoft office 2013. The Problem is when i click the setup, setup is running well at the first time. But when the installation almost finish, appear notification "microsoft office professional plus 2013 encountered an error during setup" then i click close and appear notification again " microsoft setup bootstrapper has stopped working".  previously, i had installed microsoft office 2013 preview and i uninstalled please help me solve this problem.

Now i already installed office 2010, i want install office 2013,

Thanks for all the replies.  My Plan B ultimately worked fine.  It was a newly imaged computer anyway.  Decided not to spend any more hours on this.  I re-imaged the PC with Windows 8, installed Office with no problem, and then ran the Windows 10 upgrade, and Office continued to work with no problem.
