Import Powerpoint into Onenote and all slides end up under same note.

I am using Onenote and Powerpoint 2013.

I have selected under Advanced Options to split long print outs into individual notes in OneNote.  This was working fine when i dragged PowerPoint presentations into onenote.  The slides would get put into individual notes as i would expect as i had this option selected.

All of a sudden today, i dragged a powerpoint into onenote, and the slides all get lumped into one note.  119 slides all under the same note.  I want them to go into individual notes as it did before.  I went to options, advanced, turned the Printouts insert long printouts on multiple pages, off then tried again, then on and tried again, i tried rebooting, everything.  It always comes back the same.  No matter what i select, when i drag powerpoint into Onenote, it ends up all on the same page.  I tried going to Powerpoint and selecting print to Onenote.  I tried every option.  Still same result, all slides end up in same page in onenote.  What happened?

Any help would be appreciated.

    Same strategy.

    1. Find a PDF editor. (Adobe Acrobat or Foxit)
    2. Add blank pages at the end of the PDF until it reach 51.

    Thanks Dave, that works for me too.

    So until Microsoft gets the issue resolved, be sure you have the option set to "Break long printouts to multiple pages" and make sure PowerPoint has more than 50 slides. (I used 60)

    Not sure how to work around with PDFs.

    Hi,

    There are two updates(March, April) for OneNote since sp1, but neither fix the problem!

    There are large amounts of user have same problem, e.g. here, here, here, here.

    This is a must have feature for core user.

    The best attracting feature of surface to university students is taking notes on PDF/PPT, and they even can't uninstall update!! Because Office 365 University 2013 is a Click-to-Run edition.

    This happened right before the final exam!

    There are more than one month since this bug, are you sure you can't fix this number issue?

    This is EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTMENT.

    Today has been realesed the first official update for office 2013 since the realesed of the Service Pack 1, there is also an update for OneNote 2013 but it doesn't fix this issue. Well Microsoft this is very bad, after 1 Mouth you still have not realesed a fix. I understand that those things are complicated to fix but this doesn't seems me like a very big problem. Also there is also no comunication at all from Microsoft staff on this thread. A lot of people use this program every day, the vast majorty I suppose not to play with it but to work on it so you should really provide a solution.

    You obviously haven't experienced iOS7... haha

    Seriously tho... this issue is a major inconvenience. I use this for classes as well as my graduate research and onenote is far less useful without this option.
