I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 2013. What should I do?

Hi Naman,

If you receive this error:

“Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error Code 30088-4”

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    La verdad te vas que acostumbrar a tener ese mensaje, es molesto dado que te envían casi 50 correos diarios notificándolo. En lo personal creo que es poco ético departe de MicroSoft a no solucionarlo, hemos pagado por un producto problemático, pero no podemos hacer nada, no hay voluntad para solucionarlo departe de Microsoft. !!!Acostumbrate!!!!

    and, if necessary http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2822317

    If that does not help, then you might remove all traces of the Office  installation by running the fixit from the following article:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

    and then reinstall Office by logging into www.office.com/myaccount with your registered email address and click Install Office.
