I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 2013. What should I do?

If you receive this error:

Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error Code 30088-4

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    I am running into the same problem and MS even took me out of the live chat for any clarity on this issue. I am glad that I am not the only one having this issue. Hope that we all have answers soon.

    ridiculous I have only used this program once ! And now need to find the key/code to reinstall

    Today, 22.03.2014 I have the same Problem with the Office program. I have done a backup from february 2014 and the Office program works fine. But 30 minutes later is the same Problem.

    I have done the procedure 2 times, but the Problem is always the same.

    It is an Microsoft Problem which should be solved a.s.a.p. from Microsoft.
