I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 2013. What should I do?

If you receive this error:

Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error Code 30088-4

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    I have Office 2013 (64 bit) installed on my machine.  I am attempting to install Visio 2013 (64 bit) but am getting the error "Something went wrong.  Sorry, we ran into a problem.  Go online for additional help.  Error Code 30088-4"

    that did not solve the problem... i refuse to continue to have to install, remove , and reinstall.

    there is nothing wrong with how the program is working, other than i did not use it in 2 days ( weekend) thus when i return and do not open it as soon as i boot the pc, i get these error codes.

    They are screwing with us. They don't know what's wrong either. My problem is anytime I use an office 2013 product my display go whacky. I'm getting pissed.

    That's when I have this problem, too. I don't understand why I should have to uninstall Office just to get this one little feature working either.
