I know it does not help anyone but I curse MS into the 3rd generation for making our lives so difficult. My father just passed away and I am in the middle of making arrangements for the funeral, writing a speech, selecting music informing many friends and
relatives. Losing all Office2013 is pretty stressfull at such a moment.
None of the suggestions worked until I read the linked article and removed Office2013 with fixit. A regular 'uninstall' did not work, 'we ran into a problem'. All the time suggesting my internetconnection was wrong. Strange that my Chrome kept working very
fast with my 60Mb connection.
But this fixit program removed Office2013. Then I had to find the code of Office2013 when I purchased it. And I must say, from thereon it was plain sailing. It downloaded and installed as advertised and I now have access again. I also lost 2 hrs very valuable
time.
I thank the moderator for providing this link, very useful.
