I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 2013. What should I do?

If you receive this error:

Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error Code 30088-4

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    I have the same error as everyone else.

    I do not have my product key so cannot re-install. I assumed it would be online but Microsoft does not have a product key associated with my account (why is this?).

    I would like to have my product key re-sent to my email. If this isn't done I will never purchase another Microsoft product again.

    I got the same message when using the Crome Web Browser. When I switched to Explorer to download from the web, it worked.

    I am having this error code.  I had to reset my computer to factory settings, and now Microsoft office won't let me uninstall or reinstall an second license.  Help!!!
