I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 2013. What should I do?

Hi Naman,

If you receive this error:

“Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error Code 30088-4”

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    Just rang up a technician and he accessed my computer to fix the problem.  You need to download this driver:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2813143/en-au

    It updates your drivers to support the updated Office. Not sure why this wasn't posted by the admin staff.

    Ik wil office 365 herinstaleren en krijg de Foutmelding Code 30088-4 dit is een Foutmelding voor  office 2013,  wat kan ik doen om dir Probleem op Orde te krijgen?

    IK HEB DE PRODUKTCODE VAN MIJN AANGEKOCHTE  OFFICE 365 voor thuisgebruik premium. Graag dringend antwoord

    I can not open my software.  Just tried to download music from my ipod to my library and the library extracted my files.  Tried to recover but the Office software still will not open...windows, excel, ppp, nothing.  all error messages.  Just got off the phone with tech support and they told me that music from my ipod had corrupted my office software and had to pay 99.99 o fix it.  WHAT...they must have bumped their heads on something.  

    I can recover my files if I had my product key...let me check it...i think its good for up to a certain amount of computers....wish me luck
