Hi Naman,

If you receive this error:

Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error Code 30088-4

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    Greetings,

Yesterday I tried to update my Office 365 suite by paying the annual subscription (monthly) I then received the message on many occasions. I went inside and used my new computer with the same effect.

I contacted service and spoke with VAL, who remotely fixed the PC by deleting my Office Premium Home 365 and then reinstalling it on that Computer.

I now need assistance on this machine

    Kindest regards

Very simple need to install a new purchased version of Office has resulted in 2 hours of troubles and Microsoft error messages.  First it will not install and now I can't un-install the trial version without CMD prompt issues.

If that does not help, then you might remove all traces of the Office installation by running the fixit from the following article:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

and then reinstall Office by logging into www.office.com/myaccountwith your registered email address and click Install Office.
