I just bought a subscription to Office 365 and entered my email and password for my Microsoft account and the program is telling me that it doesn't recognize that account, which is the only MS account I have and so definitely the one that I used to install the program for the trial period.

    Hi Emily,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Communities. Let me help you install Office 2013.

To help you in resolve your issues I need more information about the issues that you facing

    • Do you have different Microsoft account that you can remember?

Based on the error message ‘The account isn't associated with this office product’ when you login to www.office.com/myaccount using the email account which is not registered with Office.

You may log off from all the accounts and then try to login with the registered Microsoft account.

Ensure that you are signing in with the correct Microsoft ID. You need to sign in using the Microsoft account that was used to register or purchase the Office 2013.

I hope this helped you, if not do get back to us with more details so that we may assist you further.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I have been facing the same issue once I upgraded to Windows 10. Office 365 gives me an error message stating the account isn't associated with this product. I'm being billed monthly and been using just one email id to use microsoft products. I still have the product key and account activation email from Microsoft. Tried uninstalling and installing it. It doesn't work. And my account page shows I have purchased no product through the same email id. Now there is no way to cancel the monthly subscription and am being charged for a product I cannot use.  Is there any solution for this problem?

    Thanks.
