Office 365 doesn't recognize my Microsoft account

I just bought a subscription to Office 365 and entered my email and password for my Microsoft account and the program is telling me that it doesn't recognize that account, which is the only MS account I have and so definitely the one that I used to install the program for the trial period.

    We paid $99 for Office 365 for one year for up to 5 users and want to install and use the program.  It is not being recognized.

    Contact Customer Support.  Or, your local Microsoft Store Sale for help.  I've posted the information from the corporate site for your convenience.
