I just bought a subscription to Office 365 and entered my email and password for my Microsoft account and the program is telling me that it doesn't recognize that account, which is the only MS account I have and so definitely the one that I used to install the program for the trial period.

Thank you so much for this! I have searched and searched the web, talked with Microsoft tech support, and this is the only thing that actually helped me! Yes you do have a Mac Apps password and would they tell you that . . . . . NO! Its such a simple concept you buy a subscription they email you a stupid app password but does that happen . . . NO!

    Thank You!

My office 365 software deactivated itself on my mac.  The subscription is valid til next year and I have only use 3 of the 5 installs including the one that deactivated.  I type in my microsoft username and password (I only have one) it does not recognize it in the office 365 activation page although I can log in to the website.  The two other laptops have no other issues.
