Office 365 doesn't recognize my Microsoft account

I just bought a subscription to Office 365 and entered my email and password for my Microsoft account and the program is telling me that it doesn't recognize that account, which is the only MS account I have and so definitely the one that I used to install the program for the trial period.

Why is this not allowing me to get into my office 360 if it is already paid for? I am having a hard time with this. How did you guys get the problem solved?

Trying to install program updates (bought subscription to Office 365 a few months back). Only installed on one computer. Can't install though it keeps wanting me to because it won't accept my password. I know my password. Please advise.

I can sign into this -but I can not activate my office 365 programs - so frustrated !
